8 x 18mm irregular discs in Matt Amethyst with laser etched chessboard

This is a string of 8 Matt Amethyst glass beads with a laser etched chessboard design on them. They were made in the Czech Republic and the beads are approximately 18mm in diameter and are 4mm thick. They have a Laser Etched coating which will not rub off-
