8mm Venetian chevron bead in Green and Red with 4 layers (1940s)

This is a Green chevron bead which has been made using Venetian cane from the 1940s. The cane has 4 layers of colour glass which has then been cut and shaped to make a bead approximately 8mm in diameter. Due to the production methods- there is a lot of variation between the beads so no two are the same size.
